On this and similar pages, we include a selection of related sites that demonstrate the way that evolution is guiding us all Home to Wholeness and the Truth, to Love and Peace, Life and Freedom, and Stillness and Emptiness through the awakening of Consciousness and Intelligence. We are still adding sites to this list. But if you know of other sites that could be included, do please let us know.
The major purpose of these pages, which were set up around 2007, is to see if we can bring forth our innate spirit of kindliness to work harmoniously together with a common vision to heal our grievously sick society. By cooperating with each other, rather than fighting, we would create a miracle. For evolution proceeds in an accelerating, exponential fashion by creating wholes that are greater than the sum of the preceding wholes through the new relationships that are formed, apparently out of nothing. Generating synergy in a spirit of love and compassion is thus our only chance of realizing our fullest potential as both individuals and as a species.
We have done our best to classify these sites into one or more categories, with no site appearing on more than one page. The categories on this overview page are Holistic and global organizations, Promoting peace, and Evolutionary visionaries. Those sites more closely related to the Paragonian Fellowship, University, Business Academy, and Publications are listed in the relevant sections.
Holistic and global organizations
There are a growing number of organizations in the world who recognize that we need to make radical changes to the way we live our lives and manage our business affairs if today’s children are to have any chance of growing old enought to have children of their own. Here is a short selection of thos sites taking a broad, holistic view of our rapidly changing world.
The Club of Budapest International is an independent organization of likeminded persons who wish to come together in the interest of working toward a better future for all.
Its core objective—pursued together with its world-renowned international members and engaged creative and national members—is to create and implement holistic solutions to problems that face the entire human family in a participatory way that can be experienced and acquired.
The Club of Budapest in cooperation with the World Commission on Global Consciousness and Spirituality has convened the World Wisdom Council (WWC) in the conviction that the paramount requirement in this age of discontinuity and transformation is to recognize that, through the development of a new dimension of consciousness, the world can be constructively changed by women and men wherever they live and whatever their interests and lot in life.
The Club of Rome is a global think tank and centre of innovation and initiative. As a non-profit, non governmental organisation (NGO), it brings together scientists, economists, businessmen, international high civil servants, heads of state and former heads of state from all five continents who are convinced that the future of humankind is not determined once and for all and that each human being can contribute to the improvement of our societies.
The ultimate aim of the Global Justice Movement is the Omega point, the purpose and end of the human adventure, which is a genderful and fully inclusive universal justice and holistic theology, set in an earth system science. We shall then be able to say, with John the Divine, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.” p>
With this vision in mind, Global Justice grows from within. It starts with endogenous money and ends with peace. The first principle of Global Justice is that there is a Source of all creation which has endowed the absolute values of Truth, Love, Justice and Goodness which represent the ultimate ends of human actions. The other four principles are: Respect the Earth, Abundance is possible, Creative work for all, and Economic democracy. These five principles, together with five inter-related components—Monetary Justice, Social Justice, Economic Justice, Environmental Justice, and Peace Justice—give:
Secure incomes for all, including pensions (created by new technology and new investment), Capital ownership for all (individual capital estates provide secure income), Public capital investment (at half the present cost), A huge reduction in debt (personal, corporate and national), A proper deal for women (ensures independent income), Safeguarding the environment (sustainable resource use), and thus Peace.

body>We live in an age of boundless complexity. The forces of globalisation, technological advance, increased connectivity and mounting transparency have transformed our world in a matter of decades. This is a world too complex and fast changing for us to understand using traditional models. It is a world we cannot control. Yet all our models of action and decision-making rely on first understanding our environment and then taking effective action in it.
The International Futures Forum was established in 2001 in response to this challenge, with support from BP. It set out to search for better ways of understanding the world that will restore the capacity for effective and responsible action to prosper in the world of the early 21st century.
Currently we are on the verge of a New Civilization, although whether this actually comes to fruition will depend on various factors, the main one being whether the new memes be overcome the entrenched old ones before life on Earth is virtually destroyed and the Earth goes from being a center of cosmic spiritual transformation to one of destruction. It is a race against time
A new civilization will involve new paradigms and ways of looking at things, a more universal and integral worldview, a spiritual and ecologically self-sustainable attitude, and the right rather than the wrong use of technology, a right way of relating to the spiritual forces behind nature, a new form of social networking based on the principle of participation and creative Commons, and a new model for business and capitalism (and not, as some suggest, a rejection of the capitalist system).
The New Civilization Network (NCN) is a meeting place for people of good will who are working on building a world that works for all of us. A world of increased quality of life, freedom, fun and inspiration for all. A world where the needs of all of humanity are met.
NCN is a place where you can find people to work with and where you can share your experiences with others. NCN is not an organization. It is a database of people and a lot of facilities intended to help you find what you need and collaborate with others when appropriate.
The Union of International Associations (UIA), a nonprofit clearing house for information on over 40,000 international organizations and constituencies, has been a pioneer in the provision of information on international organizations and their global challenges since its foundation in 1910. We have some very useful databases available for you on paper, on-line and on CD-Rom, such as World Problems, Strategies, Human Development and Values. These are valuable tools for a wide variety of users and tasks, whether focused on action, research or decision-making.
The World Commission on Global Consciousness and Spirituality was inaugurated at the 20th World Congress of Philosophy in Boston on August 10, 1998. The Commission is intended to fill a void at the highest level of global leadership, so it is carefully designed and composed to have maximal moral and spiritual force and credibility as we enter the 21st Century. In this spirit the Commission has a select group of eminent Mentors who will actively guide and work with the distinguished members of the Commission. The charge of the Commission is the urgent task of developing global wisdom, ethics and spirituality through deep dialogue to help guide the planet towards creative solutions of the great human, cultural and ecological problems.
Today humanity has unprecedented powers to damage the planet and affect the well-being of present and future generations, yet we seem powerless to address the global and long-term impacts of our actions.
We need to challenge the short- term commercial thinking that currently has veto power over global decision- making.
The huge gap between our deeper values and current policies now threatens the legitimacy of our democratic system, which currently offers only superficial, short-term alternatives. Our world needs a clear and sustained voice speaking up for our global citizen values.
The World Future Council (WFC) aims for a global membership of wise thinkers, practical pioneers and young leaders. It will identify the "implementation gaps" between current practices and necessary measures to assure a sustainable and equitable world. As an institution representing humanity's common values, the WFC will provide an ongoing forum for debate and action.
Promoting peace
In Swedish, there are two words for peace: fred, meaning ‘lack of war’, and frid, ‘inner peace’ or ‘stillness’. Here is a short selection of organizations engaged in fred in contrast to those spiritual organizations more focused on frid.
The Institute for Global Peace Work (known by its German acronym IGF) develops and disseminates ideas, concepts and contacts to be used in the establishment of a global force for peace. Peace workers are also offered training in two affiliated organisations: the Mirja School for Peace and the Youth School "Global Learning". An international network of co-operation is being weaved from the IGF to representatives of indigenous peoples, scientists, peace initiatives, and individual peace activists. In particular, the IGF is co-operating with peace workers from Israel/ Palestine, Columbia, India, and Brazil. These are the first seeds of the "Movement for a Free Earth".
The IGF supports cultural models of peace which work on alternatives to the current system of violence and it promotes the "Healing Biotopes Plan". This plan is based on the "Political Theory" of Dieter Duhm, which in turn is based on two fundamental ideas: 'everything is one being' and 'all life reacts to information'. Today's science is providing evidence for the truth of both of these ideas. Since the world is one system which reacts to information, information can be used to change it. An information for peace, if lived out in just a few places on Earth, will enter the whole Organism Earth. This information will then support a global power for peace, which can be called upon in other places on Earth. A local action has a global effect.
Pathways To Peace (PTP) is an international PeaceBuilding, Educational and Consulting organization. The mission of Pathways To Peace is threefold:
- to expand the comprehension and substantive expression of “PEACE” and PeaceBuilding practices at all levels;
- to build Cultures of Peace by uniting and enhancing the strengths of existing organizations and programs along eight paths to Peace;
- to contribute, through consultation and direct participation, to the evolving mission of the United Nations and to citizens’ worldwide participation in the International Day of Peace (21st September 2005).
In the past, we as a society have compartmentalized our thinking. We have held that a harmless, peaceful, sustaining culture is an ideal separate from our systems of foreign policy, education, politics, business, health, and social welfare. We recognize that the world is actually interconnected and that everything influences the whole. As sister organizations, The Peace Alliance and The Peace Alliance Foundation are dedicated to the creation of channels for making our shared value of peaceful co- existence a reality.
The Peace Alliance Foundation's mission is to identify and reveal a Culture of Peace based on the organizing principles of nonviolence and cooperation. It holds that all of our systems of foreign policy, education, politics, business, health, and social welfare can and must be united in seeking, teaching and living peace. In turn, the Peace Alliance is campainging for a Department of Peace in the US government.
The Toda Institute, founded in Japan by Daisaku Ikeda and named after his mentor Josei Toda, is an independent, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization committed to the pursuit of peace through peaceful means and a complete abolition of war. In cooperation with other peace organizations that resist injustice and resolve conflict, the Institute aims to maximize the efforts of people of peace of all colors and creeds everywhere.
The mission of the United Peace Foundation (UPF) is to promote international peace, tranquility and lifestyle improvement for all the world's people and all nations throughtout Planet Earth.
But the only way you can create “peace on earth” is to first create it within yourself. This is a premise many on the earth plane have missed. You must be at peace within yourself—you must have found peace for yourself—before you will have any peace to give others, before you will ever be able to show others the true path to peace.
Evolutionary visionaries
During the last century, three far-seeing visionaries, Richard Maurice Bucke, Jan Christiaan Smuts, and Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, who wrote Cosmic Consciousness, Holism and Evolution, and The Human Phenomenon in 1901, 1925, and 1940, respectively, saw that one day evolution would return Home to Wholeness, leading to a great awakeing of consciousness.
Today, a growing number of evolutionary visionaries are actively working to promote this converging vision, in which we all recognize that none of us separate from God, Nature, or each other for a single instant of our lives. Here is a short selection.
The Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust has appointed six Visionaries working for a Just and Peaceful World. They are:
- Karen Chouhan (Leicester) – Black-led decision making approach to race equality in the UK.
- Roy Head (London) – Tackling inequality of information about health in the developing world.
- Heather Parker/Mark Hinton (Coventry - jobshare) - Building bridges between a local UK community and the developing world.
- Carne Ross (London) – Helping marginalised countries through independent diplomacy.
- Clive Stafford Smith (London) – Increasing human rights by closing Guantanamo Bay and other enclaves.
- Geoff Tansey (Hebden Bridge, Yorks) - Creating a world in which everyone can feed themselves sustainably.
